KATHMANDU – POKHARA - ANNAPURNA BASE CAMP TREK

DAY 01: KATHMANDU

Morning arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport at Kathmandu.

Meet your guide and will greet you with Khada at the airport escort you to the hotel (Check-in Time at 14:00 hrs).

Afternoon Heritage walking Tour, explore of typical local market called Ason Bazaar. This is very old market lying in the heart of the Kathmandu valley. The six different streets converge on Ason Bazaar make it the busiest junction in Kathmandu. There are many shops offering a variety of spices, Vegetables, Fruits, meat, color powders and many more. The major shrine of the bazaar is the Annapurna temple (Goddess of abundant food grain), Seto (White) Machhendranath Temple (God of rain), Ganesh Temple and Stupas. Then Rickshaw ride around local market. Dinner & Overnight.

DAY 02: KATHMANDU

Morning sightseeing of Swayambhunath & Kathmandu Durbar Square &. Afternoon Patan Durbar Square & Golden Temple.

DAY 03: KATHMANDU

Morning sightseeing of Boudhanath & Pashupatinath. Afternoon Bhaktapur Durbar Square & Thimi, The city is more famous for its pottery and agricultural production.Overnight.

DAY 04: KATHMANDU – – POKHARA (200 KM– 8 hrs approx)

Morning drive to Pokhara. Pokhara is located in the northwestern, at an altitude of 900 meters and 200 Km from the Kathmandu. This is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Nepal. Pokhara is also famous for beautiful lakes and magnificent views of the Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Makalu, Manaslu, Machhapurche. Afternoon rest & free for walk around Lakeside.

DAY 05: POKHARA

Morning sightseeing of World Peace Stupa, situated on hilltop. It is a Buddhist stupa; a monument to inspire peace, from here can enjoy a panoramic view of Annapurna Mountain range. Afternoon sightseeing of Devi”s Fall, Tibetan Refugee Camp, Gupteshwor Cave & boat ride on the Phewa Lake then visit Barahi Temple, located at the center of Lake. Evening preparation & briefing on Trekking.

Overnight.

DAY 06: POKHARA – NAYAPUL – GHANDRUK (1940 m – 5 hrs approx)

Morning drive from Pokhara to Nayapul (1010 m - 1.5 hrs) & trek to Ghandruk.

Overnight at lodge.

DAY 07: GHANDRUK – SINUWA (2360 m – 6 hrs approx)

Breakfast and trek uphill and downhill trek to Sinuwa passing small villages, river and jungles for 6 hours, frequently gazing the great view of Annapurna and Fishtail mountains.

Overnight at Lodge.

DAY 08: SINUWA – DEURALI (2230 m – 6 hrs approx)

Breakfast and trek for 6 hours mostly on the forest of bamboo, rhododendron and oak forest with the pleasant view of waterfall, temple and cave.

Overnight at Lodge.

DAY 09: DEURALI – ANNAPURNA BASE CAMP (4130 m – 6 hrs) via MBC

Trek to Annapurna Base Camp visa Machhapuchhre Base Camp. Walk further, more beautiful White Mountains are seen & close. The trail turns to the left in the valley after Machhapuchhre Base Camp & it is pleasant walk up ABC though the air is thinner now. You may feel at the high altitude now. It is recommended not rush & walk gently. Here you can see the one of best 360˙degree Mountain View in world from Base Camp. There are tremendous views of giant Annapurna I 8091m, Annapurna South 7219m, Machhapuchhre (Mt. Fishtail) 6997m & several other wonderful peaks.

DAY 10: ANNAPURNA BASE CAMP - BAMBOO (2400 m -6 hrs)

Enjoying beautiful Mountain view. After breakfast trek down to Bamboo.

Overnight at lodge.

DAY 11: BAMBOO - JHINU (1780 m - 5 hrs)

Breakfast and continue trek down to Jhinu Hot Spring for 5 hours. Dip into the hot spring, feel relax after ABC trek.

Overnight at lodge.

DAY 12: JHINU – NAYAPUL (6 hrs approx) – POKHARA (1.5 hrs)

Breakfast trek down to Nayapul and drive back to Pokhara.

Overnight.

DAY 13: POKHARA – KATHMANDU

Morning free. Afternoon fly (30 min) back to Kathmandu.
