NEPAL - BHUTAN ADVENTURE TOUR

NEPAL (4 nights) – BHUTAN (5 nights)

DAY 01: KATHMANDU

Morning arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport at Kathmandu. Meet your guide and will greet you with Khada at the airport escort you to the hotel (Check-in Time at 14:00 hrs).


Afternoon Heritage walking Tour, explore of typical local market called Ason Bazaar. This is very old market lying in the heart of the Kathmandu valley. The six different streets converge on Ason Bazaar make it the busiest junction in Kathmandu. There are many shops offering a variety of spices, Vegetables, Fruits, meat, color powders and many more. The major shrine of the bazaar is the Annapurna temple (Goddess of abundant food grain), Seto (White) Machhendranath Temple (God of rain), Ganesh Temple and Stupas. Then Rickshaw ride around local market. Dinner & amp; Overnight.


DAY 02: KATHMANDU

Morning sightseeing of Swayambhunath & Kathmandu Durbar Square &. Afternoon Patan Durbar Square & Golden Temple.


DAY 03: KATHMANDU – NAGARKOT

Morning sightseeing of Boudhanath & Pashupatinath. Afternoon drive to Nagarkot (2175 m). Explore around Nagarkot & view sun set. Overnight.


DAY 04: NAGARKOT – KATHMANDU

Wake up early in the morning for the sunrise view and also enjoy the awesome view of Mountain range (Weather permit). After breakfast, easy walk down hill from Nagarkot. During the walk you will have wonderful view of landscape and mountains. Interact with local people and observe the village lifestyle. Afternoon sightseeing of Bhaktapur Durbar Square & Thimi, The city is more famous for its pottery and agricultural production. Evening farewell Nepalese dinner with culture dance. Overnight.


DAY 05: KATHMANDU – PARO – THIMPU

Morning fly (1.5 hrs) to Paro. During the flight, one will experience breathtaking views of Mount Everest, Kanchenjunga and other famous Himalayan peaks, including the sacred Jomolhari and Mount Jitchu Drake in Bhutan. On arrival at the Paro International Airport. Then drive (65 KM/ 1 hr) to Thimphu. Visit the National Memorial Chorten. The National Memorial Chorten was built in 1974 in memory of the late Third

DrukGyalpo (King) of Bhutan. At the chorten, you will find an extraordinary depiction of Buddhist teachings in the form of paintings and sculptures. Visit the Changlimithang ground and explore local market. Overnight.


DAY 06: THIMPU

Attend Thimphu Tsechu festival at the courtyard of Tashichho Dzong. It is one of the most popular festivals in the country where people come from all over the country, dressed in their finest clothes. There will be several mask and other cultural dances at the festival. Visit Tashichho Dzong. Tashichho Dzong means 'the fortress of the glorious religion.' It is a majestic fortress in all its grandeur and serves as the seat of Bhutan’s government. The Dzong houses the secretariat, the throne room, the offices of His Majesty the King and the ministries of home affairs and finance. The fortress was initially erected in 1641 and later rebuilt in the 1960s by the third king, JigmeDorjiWangchuck. Drive up to Buddha Point. Buddha Point has the largest statue of Buddha in the whole kingdom. You can get a very good view of Thimphu valley from here. Visit the Folk Heritage Museum. Built in 2001, the Folk Heritage Museum gives a glimpse of how life was lived in a Bhutanese village a hundred years ago.


DAY 07: THIMPU – PHUNAKHA

Morning attend Thimphu Tsechu festival then drive to Punakha (77 KM /3 Hrs). On the way, stop at Dochula pass (3100 m) to view the most beautiful view of the entire Eastern Himalayan Mountain ranges. Besides, you will also get to see the 108 Miniature Stupas at Dochula Pass. On

reaching Punakha visit the Punakha Dzong. Cross over the longest suspension bridge in the country over the Pho Chhuriver spanning 180 m. You will enjoy the swaying walk across the bridge draped with colourful prayer flags and visiting the little village shops at the other end. Overnight.


DAY 08: PUNAKHA – PARO

Morning Visit Chimi Lhakhang. Later drive (142 KM/ 4 Hrs) to Paro. Afternoon visit of National Museum (Ta-Dzong) and Kyichu Dzong. In the evening stroll around Paro Town. Overnight.


DAY 09: TAKSHANG

Morning visit to (hike about 3 hrs) Taktsang Monastery (Tiger’s Nest). (we suggest to wear comfortable shoes for hike, you can also hire Pony by your own expenses). Back to hotel for rest. Evening walk around local Market and see the beautiful view of Rinpung Dzong. Overnight.


DAY 10: PARO – DELHI

Morning fly to Delhi.
